Rates Are Down Again
Six weeks ago, we had a giant drop in rates. It only lasted a part of a day. It just happened agian. If you are wanting a good rate, call your loan officer now, it may not last.

Our national real estate blog, RealEstateUndressed has garnered a following of consumer and professional readers as it focuses on educating consumers.
One of the ways we do that is by naming the magnificent 7 each month and then selecting the 7 top articles for the year, written by realtors and blog writers everywhere. Even though it requires reading thousands of blog articles a year it is somthing we enjoy doing.
Our second year finalists are announced.
It is interesting that 4 of the final 14 finalists for Magnificent 7 2007 are from Rain City Guide writers: 3 are from Rhonda Porter and one from Ardell DellLoggia.

Yep, Marie is just over 100 and we have her house for sale. Last week someone asked me how long it had been since I helped an old lady cross the street. My answer was yesterday as I put my arm around Kathleen. I am still hearing about that quip.
But seriously, Marie has 4.23 acres in the Cantergrove area for sale. Her home is very old and the value is in the land. Marie has been in a nursing home for a few years, but she is smart as a whip and full of fun.
So help here retirement please, if you can’t afford her home, send someone who can. This link sends you to her blog, the only 100 year old with a blog that I know of.

Today is Larry Cragun’s Birthday. In case you don’t know who he is, he is my co-writer on this blog and the incredibily talented, award winning writer of realestateundressed.com. He is also my hubby, partner and friend. He is a very busy man, the quintessential workaholic. I’m giving him a choice of presents for his birthday, a GPS device for his car or taking him to a Mariner game, maybe both. It is hard to pull him away from his favorite past time of reading and writing blogs, but I managed last night to get him to go out with friends to dinner at Anthony’s Bell Town Dinner on the Seattle waterfront. I forgot to take my camera and of course there were tons of interesting sites I could have shared. If you read this blog send him a happy birthday e message at larry@realestateundressed.com. Tell him I sent you!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LARRY FROM KATHLEEN

It has been so long since we had any, I almost forgot. I sold my snow shovel at a garage sale years ago. Bad Idea! Nov 2006 has been a very strange time for the Puget Sound area. We have had record amounts of rain and now we have this snow dump along with cold temperatures. That means it will be around awhile. Schools are closed, road are a mess. Many people have not made it into work today (Darn!) Yes, I know, All of you that are used to this find it funny that things come to a stand still when it snows here. OK, so we don’t know how to drive in it, But we also have very little equipment for sanding and plowing like they do in areas with lots of snow. And our snow is different. It is very wet. I lived half my life in snow country so I used to know how to drive in it. But today I am just going to enjoy the beauty of it all. We all run outside and take pictures because it is such a rare thing to see it at all, let alone this deep. Here are some of mine.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, It looks a lot like Christmas!
