Spring Field in Issaquah Highlands

Posted by Kathleen Cragun

This is a happy suprise, we were driving north on Highlands Drive and WOW. There is a field bursting with color. Take a look, they probably won’t last long. It is between Highlands Drive and 10th, south of High Street. A vacant lot never looked so good.

What is the name of these flowers? Do you know?

According to the Audubon Society, the flowers above are Red Clover that bloom from June through August. So pretty!

The blue above may be silky lupine. Both flowers from the pea family.
