Rain Doesn’t Wash Out Salmon Days

‘007 Spawn. Just Spawn, Issaquah’s theme for 2007 Salmon Days was a huge success, at least by my observation. The rain did dampen my enthusiasm for jumping up early and getting to the parade so by the time I got there this was the kind of view I got!

Not to worry, I still had a great time perusing the Artists in Action, live music and stuffing myself with smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels, corn on the cob and Berringer Farm’s raspberry shortcake.

Looked like a record crowd to me.

Have your picture taken with a bald eagle. Or perhaps a hawk.

Tons of fun for kids, this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Medicine Dog Art and Drum. Lori Boess, a gifted artist, teacher and healer makes drums, rattles, necklaces, pouches and more. She will also teach these skills. 360-280-2117. She had some magnificent drums, the photos of which didn’t turn out.

New to Issaquah Salmon Days is the booth of our sister city Chefchaouen Morocco - Moroccan Experience.
